Uninterrupted

Hello again! I know I know it's been forever sorry BUT I just got a new camera so I'm pretty excited. So yeah, I've actually been doing looks like this pretty often lately and I've been liking it a lot. It gives just enough definition to the eyes. Hope you like it as much as I do!

So first I applied Uninterrupted eyeshadow by MAC. This color is just...ugh it is SO pretty! I honestly think it is the perfect transition color of life! It really just ties together any look!
Next, I applied the lid color which is actually a pale rose gold color from my Sephora pallet!
After I applied a deep purple color from my Beloved Lorac Pro pallet, which is actually called "Deep Purple" and after that I applied the Lorac Front of the line pro liner I believe is what it's called.
And lastly I applied Haute and Naughty lash mascara by MAC and applied Red Cherry lashes in #46. It sounds like a lot of steps but honestly it is so simple! Below I will list the products used.

Top: Naked Illuminated (UD) , Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo Foundation, MAC Prolong wear concealer, Lorac Pro Pallet
Bottom: MAC Give me sun bronzer, MAC Melba blush and lastly NARS Translucent Crystal setting powder
I actually put the highlighting powder afterwards and forgot to take a picture with it on..sorry lol I will definitely wear it in my next post.

And here is a close up of Uninterrupted eye shadow by MAC. You guys need this bad boy in your life!

So this is the look that I have been reaching for, I hope you guys enjoyed it! As always, if you have any questions or requests leave them below.

Fall Trend Series | Dark Eyes Dark Lips

So I know I've been MIA lately but I just started working and I haven't had the time so I'm sorry about that. I will try to get at least one blog post up a week.

Today I went with dark eye shadow and a dark lip, something I'm not really used to doing but I really liked how it looked. It's something different and I think it's a look you can wear in the day or night!

So on my eyes I used the Urban Decay pallet and to be honest I'm not really sure what the name of it is, sorry about that. I'll try to find out for you. But from this pallet I used the color Half Truth all over my eyelid and in the crease I used M.I.A. Pretty simple and then after I used Maybelline's Gel Liner and Clump Crusher mascara by Cover Girl.

Left to Right: Kat Von D foundation in 62, MAC Prolong wear concealer in NW30, To be honest I'm not really sure what the name of this pallet is but I will try my best to find out for you, Clump Crusher by Cover Girl, Give me Sun by MAC, Melba Blush by MAC and in the front Vino Lip Liner and Ruby Woo both by MAC.

Here's swatches of Vino Lip Liner (top) and Ruby Woo (bottom)

So like I said before I apologize for not having posted anything for over a month, but hopefully I'm able to get back on track. If you have any questions please feel free to leave them below and I will do my best to answer them. I hope to have a review on my new Kat Von D foundation up some time next week!

Girls day!

So like I said, we had a girls/makeup day on Sunday and it was really fun we got to hang out pig out and watch chick flicks! Obviously that alone sounds like a good time. But I also got to do some makeup which made it even better. So below you'll find pictures of makeup that I did on some of the girls. I apologize that I didn't take pictures of the products but there was so much going on that I forgot to. So anyway I'll start with Beronica.

For her foundation I used Revlon's Photo Ready in Golden Beige
MAC Prep and Prime in Light Boost as her highlight
And Dainty Blush also by MAC
For her eyebrows I used Cork by MAC
And for her eyes I used:
Motif by MAC on her lid
Plum Dressing by MAC as a transition shade
And Signed Seal also by MAC in her crease and this color is SO pretty, it has purple undertones but at first sight it looks like a brown/black shade.
For liner I used Penultimate eye liner by MAC
And for mascara I used Maybelline the falsies

For Leslie's foundation I also used Revlon's Photo Ready in Golden Beige
Dainty Blush by MAC
EYES:
Parfait Amour by MAC on her lid
And in her Crease I used a little bit of Espresso by MAC
For liner I used the Maybelline Gel liner in Blackest Black
And for Mascara I used Maybelline's the Falsies
And my favorite part of this look are the lips! I used Russian Red by MAC
I love this look, I think it adds the right amount of color to your look and it's a little different for when you're feeling a little bit more edgy.

For my sister, Marilu, the main focus of this look was the eyes as it was for most of these looks but for her I really wanted to a lot of color!
For foundation I used the Hello Flawless by Benefit in Toasted Beige
Concealer: Maybelline age rewind in Neutralizer
Blush in Dainty by MAC
EYES:
MAC Deep truth on the lid
MAC Plum Dressing as her Transition color
MAC Beauty Marked to deepen the crease a bit
And MAC GoldMine in the inner corner
For liner I used the Maybelline Gel liner in Blackest Black
And for mascara I used Maybelline's the Falsies

So for Jessica, we've been trying to do a smokey eye since forever! So we decided to do just that.
For foundation I used NARS Sheer Glow in Tahoe
Concealer: MAC prolong wear
EYES:
MAC Scene on her lid
MAC signed seal on her crease
MAC Parfait Amour for the inner corner
MAC Penultimate Liner in black
Maybelline the Falsies

I hope you enjoyed these looks as much as I enjoyed creating them. I'm happy with the way they came out and hopefully next time I'll have had a little bit more practice for them to look even more glamorous! Also if you have any looks you think I should try just leave it in the comments below and I will try to recreate them! Until next time, take care!

Natural shadow with a bold lip

Sooo, I guess the next look I did was not colorful Lol sorry today just seemed like a nice day to do something natural. My skin looked good and I don't know when I have good skin days I like to go pretty natural lol

Products Used:
NARS Sheer Glow in Tahoe
Maybelline age rewind concealer in Neutralizer
Dainty Blush by MAC (MSF)
Texture eye shadow MAC as my bronzer
EYES:
Soba by MAC on my entire eyelid it's actually an interesting color because as you blend it out it turns a bit darker but in the right places! I like it, it looks like I used a darker color in the crease! It's less work so it takes less time
For mascara I used loads of BadGal lash by Benefit
And lastly I used blackout eye shadow from my UD2 pallet as liner, since I was going for a soft natural look I didn't want to use a harsh eye liner.
And for my brows I just used a light brownish gray color from my Sephora Pallet

For my lips I used this lip color from E.L.F cosmetics and it is a great color for a great price, it was only 3 bucks! I absolutely love this Red, if you ever want to find an alternative to all the expensive red lipsticks out there I would totally check this out. It's very moisturizing and the color is very rich and vibrant. But at the same time it isn't so bold that you feel like it's too much for daytime, Nope! I'm the type of person that when I wear a bold lip I'm constantly trying to take it off throughout the day simply because I'm not used to it. But honestly I feel very comfortable wearing this color and I've been loving it this summer.

So I wanted to get a good picture of the blush I used buuut as usual my camera does it no justice. I have been loving this blush from MAC called Dainty and it's one of their mineralize skin finish blushes. So it gives you that nice glow without all the extra sparkle because like I've said before I don't like using too much shimmer because I feel like it brings out my acne and that is not cool. So this blush gives you that perfect summer glow with the right amount of color!

So thank you for taking the time out of your day to check this out, I hope you enjoyed todays look I will try to get another one up soon! Have a wonderful day!

Rose Gold

So this is a look I did yesterday, but I still wanted to share it with you. I used my Sephora pallet (thanks Jess) for everything. I used this rose gold color on the lid and then a shimmery plum color. And this is what I came up with. I really like it because it's so natural but it still gives you some nice definition on the eyes. I had been wanting to try something like this for a while but I haven't because I'm always using these types of colors. But hey what are you gonna do! I'm definitely gonna try to do some different stuff soon. But I get so upset when the look doesn't come out the way I want it to. But I have to try. Hopefully I can do that for the next blog post.

So lately I've been using this Texture by MAC as my bronzer! I've been loving it. Since it's such a warm color it works great. It really gives me a glowy sun kissed finish. I've been looking for a good bronzer but I haven't been able to go out and buy so one day I was just playing around with my makeup and I just decided to put this on my face and it looked good so why not! It's a nice alternative and I love using my products for different things. That way I know I'm using them well!
