I love doing weddings, it's so nice to be a part of such a huge day in someone's life!

A Fall Wedding.

So, this past weekend I had a pretty big Bridal party to do. This post will be slightly different in that I won't be doing a product break down, but if you want to know what I used feel free to ask down below! Enjoy.

I forgot to get a picture of 1 bridesmaid but I did about 9 girls in total, plus one aunt who just wanted her eyes done after. This was such a fun bridal party to do!!

Bridesmaids Makeup

Hello again, today I wanted to post some looks I did about a week ago. Most of them wanted a natural look but I was able to have some more fun with two girls who didn't mind a little drama.

Here are a few before and after pics for you. There was two girls I forgot to take a before shot of so I just their pictures together.

They wanted super natural looks, no lashes just a little something to look a bit more put together for the pictures they'd be taking.

I had soooo much fun doing her makeup ^^ She had beautiful skin, it just went on so smoothly. And her eye shape is perfect! The winged out look definitely suits her well. I had a lot of fun glamming her up.

This girl was so funny and super sweet! I love it when I get to work on people like her. She made the experience a lot more fun. It was overall a fun morning. I love doing weddings, getting to be a part of such a special day is awesome!

If you are looking for an MUA to travel to you in the DMV area email me for quotes and dates! I also travel a bit further out if it's during the weekend. I'd love to help you feel beautiful on your special day.

Summery Glow!

So I am back with a new look! Tried out these new lashes I bought today. I don't usually go for this style but so far I'm loving them!

So for the face I used CVS Brand Milk of Magnesia as a primer. I know they say it strips your skin of natural oils or something BUT I don't use it everyday since I don't wear makeup everyday. But when I do this stuff works perfectly!!
For Foundation I used MAC cosmetics Studio Sculpt in NC44 which is actually too pink for me but I made it work.
As my concealer I used the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-matte foundation, I also used this to yellow out my foundation. And since it's so light weight it didn't cake up on me.
I set that with a bit of Mac MSF in Medium plus.
For my cheeks I used Hoola by Benefit cosmetics, and MAC Coygirl.
And the star of the show, Mary-Lou Manizer by The-Balm as my highlight.

These lashes are by Cherry blossom in the number 74. I would never have picked these but I was feeling adventurous at the beauty supply store today and wanted to try some new ones out and I really like them!!
Eyes:
Orange soda, Caramel and Sienna, all by Anastasia Beverly Hills, in the crease.
NYX Black bean Jumbo pencil all over the lid with MAC Melon pigment on top, which I sprayed with water to make it pop.
For liner I used Maybelline Gel in Black.
Mascara is L'Oreal Telescopic.
Lips:
Tough as taupe Color tattoo by Maybelline and Taupe lipstick by MAC mixed to get a balanced grey taupe color. I decided to go with a cool lip since the colors on my eyes are so warm!

And here's a better look at my highlight! I hope you enjoyed this glowy look. If you have any requests please let me know. I really wanna do a cool/grey look next since I'm always using very warm colors. So let me know! Have a great day!

MINK Lash Review!! Lashes by Lena Style: HEIDI

So I decided to go with a very natural eye for this review so that you could really see how the lashes wear and the style. (So sorry for the visible lash glue, I forgot to cover up with some liner lol)

They're really wispie so they are very natural as it is. Personally I do like longer lashes but if you like natural everyday lashes these are perfect for you. They are Mink so they're very different to work with, I won't say harder it's just different. I'm very used to Ardell lashes but the band on these are super delicate so you have to be careful when cleaning them. I will say, that even though these aren't my most favorite style I would for sure buy another pair from Lena lashes. The only thing I didn't like is that, when I received them I wasn't sure if they were correct style. They looked different from the website, in that they weren't as wispie as they seem online. I haven't bought any other styles but if that happens with any other style I'll be sure to let you know. Though I don't think that will happen since I've seen plenty of people on IG wearing other styles and they look pretty true to the pictures on Lena lashes' website.

As you can see above, these are perfect for those days that you just wanna throw on a pair of lashes and get your day started. I'm not wearing any liner but it looks like I am because they're so wispie! What I like about these is that they look like my lashes but better. The combination of mink lashes and a very natural style is just Perfect!!

So my overall thoughts: These are not my favorite lash style but they are beautiful. I would most definitely buy many more styles from this company because if you like these, wait till you see the other styles they have to offer. If you're looking for quality mink lashes these are a great buy! I'm so grateful that these were sent to me to try out. And I hope to be able to review many more of these lashes for you guys in the future!

Spring Makeup

Hello! So, I rarely wear spring looks, I'm more of a dark makeup all year round kind of girl. But the sun is shining and I felt like changing it up today. Hope you enjoy this spring makeup look with a pop of color!

First I applied Caramel as my transition color, then I used Sienna to deepen the crease just a bit more. I thought it still needed a bit more definition so I used Beauty Mark which is a rich plum purple also by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
On the lid I used Sweet heat by MAC, which I applied with my finger because I think it works best that way, but that's just my opinion. For the inner corner pop of color I used Aqua also by ABH.
For liner I used Makeup Forever Ink liner and for lashes House of Lashes in the style Noir Fairy in black.
For brows I used ABH Dipbrow in Dark brown and set that with their brow powder duo in Granite.

This color is SO pretty. I do think this was limited addition but, I will try to find something similar for you guys. This is Sweet heat by MAC and it's an extra dimension shadow. As you can see it is well loved.

As usual this is the complete picture of what I used on my face:
I mixed my Kat Von D Lock it tattoo foundation with the Becca shimmering skin perfecter in Moonstone. Then I applied Maybelline age rewind concealer in Medium and on top of that I used the MAC Select cover up concealer in NC35 which I have been Loving! Next I set that with my Laura Mercier secret brightening powder (which I forgot to photograph). I then used the NARS multiple in Vientiane as my cream bronzer and set that with the Covergirl powder foundation in Soft honey. Then for blush I used Ambering rose by MAC. As you can probably tell I really wanted to glow today so I used two highlighters for my cheeks: MAC Gold Deposit and The balm Mary-Lou Manizer.
For lips I mixed Two faced Melted lipstick in Melted Fuschia and Maybelline Pink me up.

I hope you enjoyed today's look!

Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit

Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the kit before I used it. Hope you don't mind too much!

Okay, So I recently purchased the Anastasia Contour kit, and here are my thoughts:

Pros:
1. It's compact which makes it very easy to carry either in your kit or if you're just traveling.
2. Although the colors are very pigmented, once applied to the face it doesn't cake up. You get a very thin layer which makes it very comfortable to wear.
3. The darker colors are pretty blendable which is great because those are the ones you really don't want to look blotchy.
4. I LOVE 'Cream' in this palette which is the second color in the top row.

Cons:
1. So lately I've been having dry patches and these weird skin tags have come up on my skin so that's annoying, but because of that, this palette just brings those flaws out so much more. So I definitely would not recommend this for people with dry skin.
2. I really don't care for the consistency of it. I love the fact that you get a thin layer and it isn't super high coverage because it's not a concealer palette. But the way it dries just makes me uncomfortable sometimes, because it has a powdery finish in my opinion. So if you haven't set it with a powder and you touch your face, you'll see a nice little finger print on your face.
3. I do not like the Banana shade in this palette, it looks really ashy on me, so I'm glad cream was in here.

Left to Right: Banana, Cream, Warm Coral, Nude, Cinnamon, and Chocolate.

SO! In conclusion, I am not overly enthused by this product. I probably won't buy any of the other colors for my kit. I also think I'm a bit biased because my skin isn't at it's best and this palette has been making it look so much worse. So if you have clear smooth skin then yes buy this palette because it will glide on wonderfully. But if you have skin like mine that just won't clear up then I would recommend to use a lighter and darker foundation if you want to do some cream contouring and highlighting.

Hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful!

Doll Eyes

So today, I had no idea what look to do, but I saw this picture where the eye shadow was dragged out pretty far and I really liked it. So I decided to try to do something similar.

I used two companies for my eye makeup. I used Provoke eye shadow base by Sigma, which is a soft pinky champagne color and the Lorac Pro palette.

So, first I applied Provoke eye shadow base by sigma. This gave the lid a pink undertone. Then I went in with Mauve from the Lorac Pro Palette and this acted as my overall transition color. To deepen the crease further I went in with Taupe, Sable and a little bit of Espresso. Then for the lid I mixed Lt.Pink and Cream. And to get that sharp edge I did use tape on the corners of my eye. For Eyeliner I used the Rimmel Glam eyes liquid liner in Black. Then for mascara I used L'Oreal Telescopic. Lastly for the lashes I applied the style Siren by House of Lashes.

For the lower lash line, I first applied Scandal eyes Kohl Kajal liner in 005 Nude by Rimmel in my water line to make my eyes look a bit bigger. Then I went in with Mauve, Taupe, Sable and Espresso. But I don't go very low with these colors because as you can see I have a lot of wrinkles under my eyes, which I have to work with, so if I go too low with any color it just doesn't look right. But anyway, to finish off the eyes I applied the Clinique bottom lash mascara which comes with the cutest little wand.

FACE:
For the base I used NARS All day luminous Weightless foundation. The I mixed the NARS Radiant creamy concealer in Custard and the Sephora concealer in Mat Tan since Custard is a bit too light for me.

Here you can see the products I used for my eyes.

 FACE:
Now for the rest of my face I used the NARS Matte Multiple in Vientiane as a cream base for my bronzer. Then I went in with the darkest shade (Havana) in the Anastasia Contour kit to set the cream base. Then I used Banana to set the areas I applied my concealer to highlight. For Blush I used a mixture of Infatuation and Bliss by Makeup Geek. And to highlight I used NARS Albatross, only on the high points of my face.

For my brows I used the Anastasia Brow powder duo in Granite.

And lastly for my lips I used Pure Hollywood by Anastasia Beverly Hills. At first I thought I would need to mix it with another color, but I ended up liking the way it looked on its own.

Thank you for stopping by my page, I hope you like this look. If you have any request let me know! have a great day.

Heathers

Hello! Sorry it's been so long since the last time I posted anything but I felt inspired for once today. Hope you like the look I created.

I also purchased the new NARS All day Luminous Weightless Foundation, it's only my second time wearing it but I do like it. It definitely is light weight and very comfortable to wear, even for my oily it wears very well throughout the day.
For concealer I used the NARS creamy concealer to highlight and conceal my dark circles.

So I recently purchased the new Liquid Lipsticks from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I really like them so far. They're very pigmented and very comfortable to wear.

I really didn't expect to like this color as much as I do, but it really inspired me to do my makeup today. Personally It reminds me of Diva by MAC on steroids. It's like a super intense version of it. I didn't think Diva could get any better.

For blush: I used Melba blush by MAC
Bronzer: I used a mixture of Benefit Hoola bronzer and Covergirl powder foundation in soft honey to warm up the skin.
Highlight: Becca Shimmering Skin perfector in Moon Stone.

On the eyes I used only the Semi chocolate Bar palette, from that I used:
Nougat as one of my transition colors, over that I used Peanut Butter. For the crease I used Truffled and Hot fudge. And for the lid I used Bon Bon, and for the inner corner I used Coconut Crème.
For eyeliner I used the L'Oreal gel liner in black.
Mascara: Makeup Forever Smoky extravagant mascara in black, it was one of those free gifts from Sephora, and I love the brush applicator so I would definitely purchase the full size.
Eyebrows: I used the Anastasia Duo brow powder in Granite.

I really like how this look came out, hope you did too.
